400mm to 1800mm

Curved Vanities

A curved vanity swaps hard corners for rounded ends, so a tight bathroom is easier to walk around. This range runs from 600mm to 1800mm, in single and double bowl, and almost every model is wall hung. Finishes include matte white, matte black, walnut and oak tones. For a smooth curve with no grooves, start with Ravello and Calvo, which use a plywood carcass in a timber-look oak finish, or Elva, a thermolaminated MDF cabinet in Natural Oak with a Hampton-style front. On Ravello and Estella, the rounded ends are working drawers; see more drawer vanities. Estella, Avalon, Artis and Rome add vertical grooves to the curve and are PVC, like our waterproof vanities. To compare every grooved style, curved or straight, see our fluted vanities. If you need a floor-standing unit, the Aulic Varcelli is plywood in Harvest Oak; see more freestanding vanities, or browse timber vanities for other wood tones. To repeat the curve above the basin, add one of our pill and oval shaving cabinets. Pickup is free from our Sydney warehouses for every model, from Dandenong South (VIC) for about half, and from Rocklea (QLD) for about a fifth.

How the Curve Works on Each Curved Vanity

A curved vanity unit has rounded ends or corners instead of square ones, and in this range the curve does one of two jobs. On Ravello and Estella, both rounded ends are working soft-close drawers. On the other series, the curve shapes the cabinet, and each listing shows how its storage is laid out.

PVC cabinets will not swell from daily splashes, which is why Estella, Artis, Avalon and Rome also sit in our waterproof vanities. For grooved fronts with square ends as well as rounded ones, see fluted vanities.

Curved Vanities in a Tight Bathroom

A curved vanity helps most where people walk close to the cabinet, such as a narrow ensuite or a bathroom with the door beside the basin. Rounded ends leave no square corner at hip height, and a wall hung curved vanity keeps the floor clear for mopping.

Check depth before width. Avalon, Artis, Artis-S and Calvo are about 500mm deep, Ravello and Estella about 495mm, Rome Curve about 470mm, and Elva and the Mercio Rome about 460mm. If the room needs something shallower, compare ensuite and slimline vanities in other styles.

Which Curved Vanity Fits Your Bathroom?

  • If you want drawers all the way into the curved ends, choose Ravello or Estella.
  • If your waste comes up through the floor and you would rather not move it, choose the freestanding Aulic Varcelli.
  • If you plan an above counter basin with bench space around it, choose Avalon, Artis or Calvo at about 500mm deep.
  • If the vanity will be splashed every day, choose a PVC series: Estella, Avalon, Artis or Rome.
  • If you want a timber look on a plywood cabinet, choose Ravello or Calvo.
  • If two people get ready at the same time, choose a double bowl at 1200mm or wider.

Single or Double Bowl Curved Vanity Sizes

Curved vanities in this range run from 600mm to 1800mm wide. Single bowl models come at every width, double bowl curved vanities start at 1200mm, and only Avalon, Artis and Estella reach 1800mm. Calvo starts at 750mm, and Aulic Varcelli comes in 750/900mm and 1200mm.

Timber-Look Curved Vanities: Oak and Walnut Tones

Timber-look curved vanities in this range come in nine oak and walnut tones across seven series. None of them is solid timber. The wood look is a finish over plywood, MDF or PVC, so the cabinet material decides how the vanity copes with water.

If you want the oak look without grooves, Ravello, Calvo and Elva are the three smooth-fronted options. If the vanity will be splashed every day, choose a PVC series such as Artis, Artis-S or Rome, which will not swell. Plywood and MDF cabinets handle splashes but are best wiped dry. To compare these tones with straight-sided cabinets, see our timber vanities and oak vanities.

Wall Hung or Freestanding Curved Vanities

Almost every curved vanity in this range is wall hung, and the Aulic Varcelli is the freestanding option. A wall hung curved vanity usually needs the waste to come out of the wall, while a freestanding one can sit over a waste that comes up through the floor.

The Aulic Varcelli stands 850mm high with drawers only and a fluted Harvest Oak front. Compare more floor-standing styles in freestanding vanities, or every floating style in wall hung vanities.

Tops and Basins for a Curved Vanity

Many curved vanities in this range are sold as cabinet only, so check whether a top is included before you compare prices. On Ravello, the stone top is cut to follow the curved ends, at about 905 x 505mm for the 900mm cabinet. From 900mm up, Ravello also takes the Aruro integrated undermount top for a flush bench.

  • On other series, whether the top follows the curve is shown on each product page.
  • Stone tops are cut to order for your basin and tap position, and custom tops cannot be refunded once ordered.
  • Avalon and Rome Curve listings offer a tap hole at 10, 12 or 2 o'clock, or no hole, on above counter tops. On other series, tap hole options are listed on each product page.
  • Mixers and wastes are sold separately. Rome and Elva listings call for a 32mm pop-up waste with no overflow.
  • Sydney customers can add vanity installation to the order.

Curved Vanities FAQs

Are curved vanities good for small bathrooms?

Curved vanities suit small bathrooms where people walk close to the cabinet, because rounded ends remove the square corner at hip height. Width and depth still decide the fit. In this range, curved vanities start at 600mm wide and most are 460mm to 500mm deep, so measure from the wall to the door swing or shower screen first. A wall hung model keeps the floor visible, which helps a small room feel larger. If you need something shallower, compare our ensuite and slimline vanities.

Do curved vanities have less storage than square ones?

Some do, because rounded ends take up space that a square cabinet would use for storage. In this range, Ravello and Estella avoid that loss: both curved ends are working soft-close drawers, so a 900mm Ravello has four drawers in total. Artis-S adds a small drawer inside the main drawer, and the 1800mm Artis has four drawers, two under each basin. On the other series, the storage layout is shown on each product page. For straight cabinets with drawer storage, browse our drawer vanities.

What benchtop and basin suit a curved vanity?

Many curved vanities in this range suit an above counter basin on a stone or solid surface top, and many are sold as cabinet only, so you choose the top separately. Ravello tops are cut to follow the curved ends, and from 900mm up Ravello also takes the Aruro integrated undermount top for a flush bench. Stone tops are cut to order for your basin and tap position and cannot be refunded once ordered. Wastes and mixers are sold separately. Compare basin shapes in our above counter basins.

Where can I pick up a curved vanity in Melbourne or Brisbane?

In Melbourne, every Artis, Artis-S, Avalon, Calvo and Rome Curve model can be picked up free from our Dandenong South (VIC) warehouse. That covers more than half of this range, including 1800mm double bowl Artis models. In Brisbane, Avalon from 600mm to 1500mm, every Rome Curve and some walnut Artis models can be picked up free from Rocklea (QLD). Pickup does not need an appointment, and local metro delivery is available in both cities. Ravello, Estella, Elva, the Mercio Rome and Aulic Varcelli are picked up from our Sydney warehouses.

How much does a curved vanity cost?

The price of a curved vanity depends mainly on width, single or double bowl, cabinet material and whether a top is included. Many listings in this range are cabinet only, so a stone or solid surface top, basin, waste and mixer can add to the total. Plywood series and 1800mm four-drawer double bowl models usually sit at the higher end, and 600mm PVC models at the lower end. All products are sold at trade prices, so check the current price on each listing above. Sydney customers can add vanity installation to the order.

Should I choose a curved or a square vanity?

Choose a curved vanity when the cabinet sits beside a walkway or doorway, because rounded ends remove the corner people knock into. A square vanity uses its full width for storage and comes in a wider choice of styles and sizes. In this range, Ravello and Estella narrow that gap with drawers in the curved ends. If you like grooved fronts but prefer straight sides, compare our fluted vanities, about half of which have square ends, or browse all wall hung vanities.
