Round Mirrors

A round mirror is the easiest way to soften the hard edges of tiles, vanities and shower screens, and it leaves wall space for taps, sconces or a towel ring. Our round bathroom mirrors run from 500mm to 900mm across. Choose a frameless pencil or bevelled edge for a clean look, or a slim frame in matte black, brushed gold, brushed nickel or gun metal from our framed bathroom mirrors. Backlit and framed models from our LED mirrors range add anti-fog lighting. Want a taller shape? Compare arch bathroom mirrors, or find the right base in our bathroom vanities.

Round Bathroom Mirror FAQs

▸ Are round mirrors good for a bathroom?

Yes, especially where the room has hard edges. A circle breaks up rectangular tiles, vanities and shower screens, and it suits small bathrooms because it covers less wall than a rectangle of the same width. That leaves room for wall taps, a shelf or lights on either side. The trade-off is a shorter reflection than a tall arch or pill, so a 600mm or larger round mirror is the practical minimum for daily use over a vanity. Smaller 500mm rounds suit powder rooms and separate toilets.

▸ What size round mirror should I hang over my vanity?

Aim for a mirror a little narrower than the vanity, leaving some wall visible on each side. As a guide, a 500mm round suits a 500 to 600mm vanity, a 600mm round suits 600 to 750mm, a 700 or 800mm round suits a 750 to 900mm vanity, and a 900mm round suits 900 to 1200mm. Over a 1200mm or wider double vanity, two 600mm rounds, one above each basin, usually look more balanced than one large circle. Hang the centre roughly at eye level for the main user.

▸ Pencil edge, bevelled edge or framed: which round mirror should I choose?

On a pencil edge mirror the glass edge is polished into a gentle curve, giving a clean frameless look that suits most styles. A bevelled edge has a wider border ground at an angle, which sparkles as light hits it and outlines the glass without a frame. Both are glued to the wall with neutral cure silicone. A framed round mirror adds colour and hangs on wall brackets, so it is easier to move later. Choose the frame to repeat your tapware: matte black, brushed gold, brushed nickel or gun metal.

▸ What is the difference between a backlit and a framed LED round mirror?

On a backlit round mirror the lights sit behind the glass and wash a soft halo across the wall, with a touch control and three light colours. Its anti-fog glass stays clearer once the shower is off. Our Orbis framed LED round mirrors add a coloured aluminium frame, a heated anti-fog pad and a dimmer, which suits very steamy bathrooms and gives more control over brightness. Both styles come in 600, 800 and 900mm, and the backlit models also come in 700mm. Hardwiring must be done by a licensed electrician.

▸ Will a round mirror suit a modern or Hamptons bathroom?

Round mirrors are one of the most versatile shapes. In a modern or Japandi bathroom, a frameless or matte black round mirror over a timber or fluted vanity keeps the look simple. For Hamptons and coastal styles, a brushed gold or brushed nickel frame pairs well with shaker vanities and white tiles. A backlit round mirror suits minimalist spaces where you want lighting without visible fittings. Repeat the frame finish in your tapware or cabinet handles so the room feels planned rather than mixed.

Yes, if you're in Sydney. We hold stock across four warehouses – Greenacre, Villawood, Silverwater and Revesby. Call 0480 746 325 with the models you're interested in and we'll arrange a viewing at the warehouse that has them. Viewing and pickup are by appointment only; we don't run a walk-in showroom.
