The Chrome Semi Frameless Wall to Wall Shower Screen is a pivot door shower screen with a chrome aluminium frame and 6mm clear toughened safety glass, made to fit between two walls from 700 to 1470mm wide and 2000mm high.

The polished chrome frame reflects light rather than outlining the glass, so it sits quietly beside the chrome tapware most Australian bathrooms already have. Each size covers a range rather than a single width: the wall channels adjust up to 20mm on each side, which takes up the out-of-plumb walls found in most tiled bathrooms. The glass itself is toughened for safety and cannot be cut or drilled after manufacture. Backed by a 5 year replacement parts warranty.

Replacing an Old Framed Screen in a Chrome Bathroom

A lot of wall to wall recesses in older Australian homes still have a fully framed sliding screen with worn rollers. A semi frameless pivot door keeps the reassurance of a frame around the edge but swaps the sliding panels for a hinged door, so there are no rollers to wear out or clean. Keeping the frame in chrome means it matches the existing taps and rail, so you can update the screen on its own without replacing everything else.

Care & Normal Wear

Squeegee the glass after showering and run the exhaust fan to limit water spots and mineral build-up on the glass and frame. Clean with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner; avoid scourers, bleach and solvent cleaners, which can dull the finish. Like any shower screen, seals and finishes show normal wear over time, and damage from misuse or harsh cleaning is outside the warranty.

You can collect this shower screen from our Auburn warehouse in Sydney (NSW 2144) or from our Coopers Plains pick-up point in Brisbane (QLD 4108). When your size and colour are in stock, the screen is usually ready to collect straight away; if it is not in stock, we will confirm the arrival date with you by phone. Please call us before you come in so we can make sure your screen is ready.

We also deliver across the Sydney metro and Brisbane metro areas. For other suburbs and regional areas, freight is calculated from your postcode at checkout.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Chrome Semi Frameless Wall to Wall Shower Screen

How do I choose the right size?
Measure the distance between the two walls at the top, middle and bottom of the opening and use the smallest figure. Choose the range that contains it: for example, a 950mm opening falls in the 890-1020mm range. The wall channels take up the rest.

My shower is in a corner. Is there an L-shaped version?
Yes. The Chrome Semi Frameless Corner Shower Screen uses the same pivot door with a matching fixed return panel for corner showers.

Can the glass be cut down to fit?
No. Toughened safety glass is heat-treated after cutting, so it cannot be cut, drilled or notched afterwards without shattering. Order the size range that covers your opening and let the adjustable wall channels take up the difference.

Can the door open to the left or the right?
Yes. The pivot door can be installed to open from either side, which is decided at installation to suit where your shower head and towel rail are.

Do you install shower screens in Sydney?
Yes. Our own licensed installers cover the Sydney metro area, including the Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, North Shore, Northern Beaches, Hills District, Parramatta and Western Sydney, South West Sydney, St George and the Sutherland Shire. Semi-frameless shower screen installation is a flat $329 for either a wall to wall or a corner screen. Removing an existing screen and taking away the old screen and rubbish are separate charges, which we can quote before booking.

Will it handle a humid, poorly ventilated bathroom?
Yes. The glass is toughened and the aluminium frame is finished for wet areas. As with any shower screen, squeegee the glass after use and run the exhaust fan to reduce mineral build-up on the frame.

Can I pick up the shower screen in Sydney or Brisbane?

We deliver Australia-wide. The shipping cost is worked out at checkout from your postcode and the size and weight of your order.

Free metro shipping applies to orders over:

$2,000 to Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra metro
$2,500 to Brisbane and Adelaide metro

Shower screens are not included in free metro shipping. Regional areas get a discounted freight rate at checkout. Tapware, showers and bathroom accessories ship free Australia-wide.

Delivery times

In-stock items usually leave our warehouse within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
Metro delivery takes 3 to 15 working days. Country and remote areas can take up to 21 working days.
Some items are held by our suppliers and ordered in once you buy. These take about 7 to 10 business days to reach our dispatch centre before they ship.
Made-to-order or modified items take 2 to 6 weeks.

Drivers deliver to the kerb or the ground-floor front entrance and can’t carry items upstairs or inside. Please have someone on site to help move large items in.

Pickup is free from our warehouses in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, and you don’t need an appointment:

Once your order is ready, we’ll send you a pickup notice with the warehouse address. Vanities, baths and boxed shower screens won’t fit in a sedan, so bring a ute, van or trailer.
