The Brushed Gun Metal Frameless Corner Sliding Shower Screen is an L-shaped shower screen with a 10mm glass sliding door on the front and a fixed return panel on the side, with brushed gun metal #304 stainless steel fittings. The door side fits 870 to 2000mm and the return panel comes in 800 to 1200mm, all 2000mm high.

Brushed gun metal is a deep charcoal grey with a fine brushed grain. It is darker than chrome but softer than black, and works with gun metal tapware and concrete-look tiles. The sliding door hangs from a stainless steel top rail on rollers and there is no frame around the glass. Choose the door side range that covers your opening, then add the return panel as an option. The glass is toughened for safety and cannot be cut or drilled after manufacture. Backed by a 5 year replacement parts warranty.

A Frameless Corner Shower That Needs No Swing Space

In a corner shower the sliding door runs across the front while the fixed return panel closes off the side. Because the door slides rather than swings, you can place a vanity or toilet close to the shower, and the frameless 10mm glass keeps a small bathroom feeling open.

Return Panel Sizes

All sizes are available in Chrome, Matte Black, Brushed Nickel, Brushed Gun Metal, Brushed Brass, Brushed Gold and Brushed Bronze. Opening is the walk-in gap with the door fully slid open and is a guide only; the final figure depends on the installation.

Standard or 45mm Wide Wall Channel

The wall channel is the slim profile that holds the fixed glass against the wall. Every screen comes with the standard 18mm channel, which takes up to 10mm of out-of-plumb wall. You can upgrade to a 45mm wide channel for $49.90 per channel: it takes up to 20mm of out-of-plumb wall and lets the screen reach about 25mm further than the standard channel. A corner screen uses two wall channels, one on the door side and one on the return panel, and you can upgrade either or both. Choose the 45mm wide channel from the options when you order.

The wider channel helps when your measurement sits just above the top of a size range. For example, with a 1145-1150mm opening, the 1130-1180mm screen would sit near the bottom of its range, so the glass panels overlap the most and the walk-in gap is close to its minimum of about 500mm. Ordering the 1050-1130mm screen with a 45mm wide channel uses the smaller screen near the top of its range, with less overlap and a walk-in gap of about 550mm.

Care & Normal Wear

Squeegee the glass after showering, run the exhaust fan and wipe the bottom guide now and then so the door keeps sliding smoothly. Clean with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner; avoid scourers, bleach and solvent cleaners, which can dull the finish. Like any shower screen, seals, rollers and finishes show normal wear over time, and damage from misuse or harsh cleaning is outside the warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Gun Metal Frameless Corner Sliding Shower Screen

How do I measure a corner shower?
Measure the door side from the wall to the outside edge of the shower base at the top, middle and bottom, use the smallest figure and choose the door range that contains it. Then measure the return side and choose the panel whose install range covers it: for example, a 900mm panel fits a return of up to 910mm with the standard channel, or up to 935mm with the 45mm wide channel.

Is the return panel included in the price?
The price shown is for the sliding door side. Choose your return panel size from the options and it is added to the total.

How wide is the gap to walk in?
It depends on the door side: from about 420mm on the 870-890mm size up to about 878mm on the 1800-2000mm size with the door fully open.

My shower is between two walls. Is there a wall to wall version?
Yes. The Brushed Gun Metal Frameless Wall to Wall Sliding Shower Screen uses the same sliding door without the return panel.

My measurement is just over the top of a size range. Which size should I order?
Order the smaller size with a 45mm wide wall channel, which reaches about 25mm further than the standard 18mm channel. For a 1145-1150mm opening, the 1050-1130mm size with a 45mm channel gives less glass overlap and a wider walk-in gap than the 1130-1180mm size. The wider channel is $49.90 per channel.

Can the glass be cut down to fit?
No. Toughened safety glass is heat-treated after cutting, so it cannot be cut, drilled or notched afterwards without shattering. Order the size range that covers your opening and let the adjustable wall channels take up the difference.

Can I pick up the shower screen in Sydney or Brisbane?
Yes. You can collect from our Auburn warehouse in Sydney (NSW 2144) or our Coopers Plains pick-up point in Brisbane (QLD 4108). In-stock screens can usually be collected straight away; if your size or colour is not in stock, we will call you to confirm when it arrives before you come in.

Frameless shower screen installation starts from $429. Removing an existing screen and taking away the old screen and rubbish are separate charges, which we can quote before booking.
