Nova 1400mm Left Corner Bath Gloss White - Ultra-Thin Edge Acrylic Bathtub with Overflow

The Nova 1400mm Left Corner Bath in Gloss White (Mercio NO-1400L-W) is a 1400 x 700 x 580mm acrylic corner bathtub with an ultra-thin edge and a built-in overflow, made to fit a left-hand corner of an Australian bathroom. It is supplied as the bath with its 304 stainless steel frame and adjustable legs; the plug and waste are sold separately.

The high-gloss white finish is bright and easy to wipe down, and the slim rim gives a light, modern line against wall tiles. The 580mm height keeps the step-over low for children and anyone who finds a tall bath hard to climb into. The shell is sanitary-grade American acrylic with a Watermark certified drainer, and Mercio covers the bath with a 20-year domestic product replacement warranty.

A Full Bath Where a 1500mm Will Not Fit

Plenty of Australian ensuites and older main bathrooms only have about 1.4 metres of wall for a bath. The Nova 1400mm gives you a proper lie-down tub on that shorter wall, and because one end is squared into the corner and the front is ultra-thin, it leaves more floor in front of the vanity and toilet than a bulky built-in bath with a tiled hob.

Key Features of the Nova Gloss White Corner Bath

Frequently Asked Questions About the Nova 1400mm Corner Bath

Q: How do I know if I need a left or right corner bath?
A: Stand facing the spot where the bath will go. If the corner wall is on your left, you need the left-hand Nova: its squared end sits against that wall and the rounded end faces into the room. The dimension drawing in the gallery shows the layout.

Q: Does the Nova corner bath come with a plug and waste?
A: No. The bath has a built-in overflow, but the 40mm plug and waste and the flexible waste hose are not included. Choose a waste to suit the centre waste position and your tapware finish.

Q: Should I choose the 1400mm, 1500mm or 1700mm Nova?
A: The 1400mm (1400 x 700mm) suits short walls in ensuites and compact bathrooms, the 1500mm (1500 x 750mm) is the all-round size for most bathrooms, and the 1700mm (1700 x 800mm) gives taller adults a full-length soak. All three are 580mm high and come in left and right corner versions.

Q: What tapware suits the Nova corner bath?
A: There are no tap holes in the bath, so the usual choice is a wall-mounted bath spout with a wall mixer on the wall behind the tub.

Q: How do I clean a gloss white acrylic bath?
A: Wipe it with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive bathroom cleaner and rinse after use. Avoid scouring pads, powders and solvent cleaners, which can dull the gloss over time.

Q: Do you deliver the Nova 1400mm corner bath to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane?
A: Yes, we deliver Australia-wide. Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra ship free on orders over $2,000; Brisbane and Adelaide over $2,500; Perth over $3,200. Regional areas are calculated at checkout, and free pickup from our Sydney warehouse is available on any order. A bath is a bulky item, so measure doorways, hallways and stair turns before it arrives.
