Why is this one cheaper than the rest of the range?

It is run-out stock. The line is being discontinued, so what is in the warehouse is all there is and it is priced at roughly 39% below RRP to clear. The cabinet is not a second and it is not damaged; the only difference from a full-price vanity is that once a colour or drawer side sells out we cannot get another one.

Can I use a double bowl top on this cabinet?

No. This carcass is built for a single bowl and the internal layout will not clear two traps. The double bowl version is a different cabinet and is not part of this clearance.

Is 1200mm too big for a standard bathroom?

Not usually. The constraint is the wall run, not the room. You need 1,250mm of clear wall and enough space for the drawers to pull out fully, which is about 550mm of floor in front. If the wall is shorter, a 900mm vanity is the next size down.

Is PVC better than a board vanity in a bathroom?

For water, yes. PVC has no timber or particleboard core, so steam and standing water cannot swell it from the inside, which is where most bathroom vanities fail. Ordinary care still applies: mop up spills, run the exhaust fan, and stick to mild detergent on a soft cloth rather than bleach or scouring cream.
