The Brooklyn 1200mm Ashwood Wall Hung Vanity is a 1190mm wide, 455mm deep wall hung cabinet, supplied cabinet-only with the option to add a stone, solid surface or ceramic top when you order.

Ashwood is a light, sandy woodgrain with a soft open grain that keeps a small room feeling bright and airy. It pairs easily with white tiles, terrazzo floors and brushed nickel, chrome or matte black tapware. Flat woodgrain fronts and handle-free finger pulls give the Brooklyn a quiet, modern look with nothing to catch towels or sleeves, and nothing extra to clean around.

The cabinet is made from water-resistant plywood with an Ashwood woodgrain finish, configured as 1 Door + 2 Soft-Close Drawers (Single Bowl). It is backed by a 5-year replacement parts warranty.

Door Plus Drawers: Tall Storage Where Drawers Cannot Help

Four drawers look great until you need somewhere to stand a bottle of cleaner, a spare toilet roll pack or a bathroom scale. This version swaps the end bank of drawers for a full-height soft-close door with a shelf behind it, and keeps two long drawers for everyday items. It is the practical choice for a family bathroom, and we also list the all-drawer version of the same 1200mm cabinet if you would rather have four drawers.

Key Features of the Brooklyn Ashwood Wall Hung Vanity

• Storage layout: 1 Door + 2 Soft-Close Drawers (Single Bowl).
• Handle-free finger-pull: no handles to catch sleeves or towels, and nothing extra to clean around.
• Wall hung: the floor runs clear underneath, which makes the room feel bigger and lets you mop straight through. Fixing into solid framing is required.
• Soft-close runners: drawers pull out smoothly and close themselves the last few centimetres.
• Water-resistant plywood: a stronger, more moisture-tolerant core than standard particleboard, finished in Ashwood woodgrain.
• Top options: stone, solid surface or ceramic tops available in the options above.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Brooklyn 1200mm Vanity

Q: Does a wall hung vanity need special wall framing?
A: Yes. A wall hung cabinet transfers all of its weight, plus the stone top and basin, into the wall, so it must be fixed into timber noggins or steel framing – not into plasterboard alone. If you are retrofitting over an existing wall, ask your plumber or builder to confirm there is solid backing at the fixing height before you order.

Q: What is behind the door on this version?
A: The door hides a full-height compartment with a shelf, which is where tall items like cleaning bottles, a scale or spare toilet rolls go. The two drawers beside it are full width and soft-close. If you would rather have four drawers, we also list the all-drawer version of this 1200mm cabinet.

Q: Is a plywood vanity suitable for a humid bathroom?
A: Water-resistant plywood handles steam and humidity better than standard particleboard. As with any timber-finish vanity, wipe up standing water promptly and keep the bathroom ventilated – damage from pooled water is not covered by warranty.

Q: Do you deliver to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and other cities?
A: Yes. We offer FREE shipping to metro areas on orders over these amounts:
Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra: over $2,000.
Brisbane and Adelaide: over $2,500.
Perth: over $3,200.
Regional areas: shipping is calculated at checkout by weight and postcode. Free pick-up is also available from Sydney.
