The Aquaperla 960mm Single Bowl Kitchen Sink with Drainer - Stainless Steel, Top or Undermount puts a deep single bowl and a built-in drainer in one 960mm length of 304 stainless steel. Wash in the bowl, then stand plates, glasses and chopping boards on the drainer so the water runs straight back into the sink instead of across your benchtop.

If your kitchen has one long run of bench and no room for a separate dish rack, the drainer gives you a place for wet dishes without giving up bench space. It is 450mm deep overall, so it suits a standard 600mm benchtop.

A Single Bowl With Its Own Drainer

The bowl is 500mm wide and 410mm front to back, large enough to lay a baking tray flat or soak a stockpot. Beside it, the drainer is pressed with an X-pattern and set at a slight fall, so water runs back towards the bowl and the 90mm strainer waste. The sink can be installed with the drainer on the left or the right, so it works either side of a dishwasher or cooktop.

Top Mount, Flush Mount or Undermount

The same sink can be dropped into the benchtop from above, set flush with the surface, or fitted under a stone benchtop so you can wipe crumbs straight into the bowl. Mounting clips and a cut-out template are included. There is no tap hole in the sink, so pair it with a bench-mounted kitchen mixer installed behind the bowl.

Rinse and wipe the sink dry after use to limit water spots. Use a soft cloth with mild detergent and clean along the grain of the satin finish. Do not use abrasive creams, steel wool or scourers: the supplier notes that damage from improper cleaning is not covered by the warranty. Can I install this sink under a stone benchtop?
Yes. The sink suits undermount installation under stone or another solid benchtop, as well as top mount and flush mount. Your stonemason or installer cuts the benchtop using the final measurements of the sink, and a licensed plumber connects the waste. Laminate benchtops are usually better suited to top mount.

Which side does the drainer go on?
Either. The supplier notes the sink can be installed either way round, with the drainer on the left or the right. Decide before the benchtop is cut, and keep the drainer on the side with more free bench space.

Does the sink have a tap hole?
No. There is no tap hole, so the mixer is mounted into the benchtop behind the bowl. This lets you choose the tap position and any kitchen mixer style, including pull-out models.

Will it fit my cabinet?
The sink is 960mm long and 450mm deep overall and 230mm high. Check that your base cabinet is wide enough to clear the bowl and the undermount clips, and allow room for the waste and plumbing under the bowl.
