The Ruby Chrome Pull-Out Kitchen Sink Mixer is a bench-mounted kitchen sink mixer supplied complete with flexible connection hoses and mounting hardware, ready to install on a standard sink or benchtop tap hole.
A polished chrome finish is the easiest to live with in a busy kitchen - it matches almost every sink, handle and appliance already in the room, and marks wipe away with a damp cloth rather than needing a special cleaner.
A Pull-Out That Still Fits Under a Window
Most pull-out taps are tall, which rules them out where a window opens inwards over the sink. This one keeps the pull-out spray but packs it into a 162mm low-line body, so the spray head lifts out of a spout that sits barely higher than a conventional mixer. At 6 star and 4.5 L/min it is also the most water-efficient tap in this range.

Does a 6 star rating mean weak flow?
It means less water for the same job. At 4.5 L/min the spray head concentrates the flow, so rinsing feels no slower than a 5 star tap running 5.5 L/min.
Will the low body still clear a stockpot?
Not standing up - but the spray head pulls out on its hose, so you can fill a tall pot on the bench beside the sink instead.
How do I keep the finish looking right?
Wipe the tap dry after use and clean it with warm water and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive creams, citrus-based cleaners and anything containing chloride, halides or hydrochloric acid - these attack the surface, and damage caused by the wrong cleaning method is not covered by the warranty. Normal use will show some wear over time; drying the tap after use is what slows it down most.
