Fluted Curved Wall Hung Drawer Vanity Estella 1200mm Double Bowl Matte Black - PVC Cabinet with Side Drawers

The Estella 1200mm Double Bowl Wall Hung Vanity in Matte Black is a fluted, curved-end PVC cabinet supplied as a cabinet only, ready to pair with the benchtop, basin and tapware of your choice. Both curved ends are working soft-close drawers, and the centre is drawer storage as well.

Matte Black is a deep, flat finish that absorbs light rather than bouncing it, so the fluting reads as soft shadow lines instead of glare, and it sits comfortably with brushed brass, gunmetal and chrome tapware alike. The vertical fluting runs the full width of the fronts and wraps around the radiused ends rather than stopping at them. The cabinet measures 1190 x 495 x 400mm and is built from premium PVC board — not MDF, not particleboard — so bathroom humidity, splashes and even a slow leak under the waste will not swell the panels. Inside you get one soft-close drawer in the centre with a soft-close drawer at each end. It arrives fully assembled and is backed by a 10-year replacement parts warranty on the cabinetry.

Two Basins at 1200mm — What You Gain and What You Give Up

A double bowl at 1200mm is the smallest width where two people can genuinely stand side by side, and it is the right call when the morning clash matters more than bench space. Be clear about the trade-off: two bowls at this width leaves only a narrow strip of bench between them, so tall bottles and a soap dish end up at the ends rather than the middle. What you keep is the cabinet — an 891mm soft-close centre drawer plus a curved soft-close drawer at each end, all sitting behind the two wastes rather than being carved up by them. One thing to plan for: at 1200mm the double bowl configuration is supplied as an above-counter or semi-drilled stone top only — the Aruro integrated undermount top is not made in a 1200mm double bowl version.

Key Features of the Estella Matte Black Vanity

• 100% waterproof PVC cabinet — the carcass is premium PVC board rather than MDF or particleboard, so a leak, a splash or long-term bathroom humidity will not swell the panels. This is the reason it carries a 10-year parts warranty on the cabinetry.
• Drawers on both sides and in the centre — each curved end is its own soft-close drawer and the centre is drawer storage too, so nothing is lost to a dead cupboard cavity.
• No sharp corner at hip height — both ends are radiused, which softens the room and removes the edge people walk into in a narrow bathroom.
• Fluted front profile — vertical ribs run the full width of the drawer fronts, wrapping around the curved ends rather than stopping at them.
• Integrated finger-pull handles — nothing protrudes into the walkway and there is no hardware to clean around.
• Wall hung — the floor stays clear underneath, which makes the room easier to clean and visually larger.
• Arrives fully assembled — no flat-pack build on site.
• Cabinet only — choose your own benchtop, basin, waste and tapware.

Stone Top Options and Tap Hole Positions

Estella benchtops are cut with a matching curved profile so the top follows the radius of the cabinet rather than overhanging it squarely. The finished top measures 1205 x 505mm and is drilled for two basins. All engineered stone options are Zero Silica.

Above Counter Tops

Best for: a vessel basin sitting on the bench. The slab is supplied with a waste cut-out and a semi-drilled tap hole at the back.

• 12mm Solid Surface — Matte White: slimline matte finish, warm to the touch and non-porous.
• 12mm Solid Surface — Calacatta Arctic White: the same slim profile with soft grey veining on a matte white ground.
• 12mm Solid Surface — Calacatta Night: slim 12mm profile with dramatic veining on a dark base.
• 18mm Carrara White Natural Marble: genuine marble with the classic soft grey vein, polished finish.
• 20mm Calacatta White Zero Silica Engineered Stone (WG486): bold marble-inspired veining on a bright base.
• 20mm Calacatta Night Zero Silica Engineered Stone (WG485): the same 20mm profile on a dark base.
• 20mm Blanco White Zero Silica Engineered Stone (WG034): clean, near-solid white.

Tap hole position: No tap hole | 10 o'clock (left) | 12 o'clock (centre) | 2 o'clock (right).

Undermount — Aruro Integrated Basin Top

Not available in a 1200mm double bowl. Aruro is made in a 1200mm single bowl version only, so a double bowl at this width takes above counter basins on a semi-drilled slab.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Estella 1200mm Double Bowl Vanity

Q: Why is the undermount top not available at 1200mm double bowl?
The Aruro integrated top is only made in a 1200mm single bowl version. For two basins at 1200mm you use a semi-drilled stone or solid surface slab with two above counter vessel basins, which you select separately.

Q: How much bench is left between the two basins?
Not much — that is the honest trade-off at this width. If bench space between the bowls matters more to you than having two basins, the 1200mm single bowl version gives you close to a metre of clear bench instead.

Q: Is the benchtop included in this price?
No. This listing is for the cabinet only. The benchtop, basin, waste and tapware are selected and priced separately, which is what lets you match the finish to the rest of the room instead of accepting a fixed combination. Any benchtop shown in the product images is an optional extra.

Q: Does a PVC cabinet really handle a wet bathroom better than MDF?
Yes, and the difference shows up over years rather than weeks. MDF is compressed wood fibre — once moisture reaches the core through a chipped edge or a slow leak under the waste, it swells and the door faces bubble. PVC board has no wood fibre to swell, so a splash, a burst hose or long-term steam does not destroy the carcass. It is why this cabinet carries 10 years parts on the cabinetry rather than the 5 years an MDF vanity typically gets. Care is still simple: wipe spills off the fronts, run the exhaust fan during and after showering, and clean with warm soapy water and a microfibre cloth only — no abrasive pads, bleach or solvent cleaners.

Q: Do you deliver a 1200mm vanity to my city?
Yes. We ship Australia-wide. Free delivery to metro Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra applies on orders over $2,000, metro Brisbane and Adelaide over $2,500, and metro Perth over $3,200. A 1200mm cabinet with a benchtop will often clear the Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra threshold on its own; the higher thresholds usually need tapware or a mirror added. Regional addresses are quoted at checkout, and Sydney customers can collect free of charge.
