Fluted 450mm Slimline Wall Hung Vanity | Matte White | 255mm Depth | Small Bathroom

The Fluted 450mm Slimline Wall Hung Vanity in Matte White is a wall hung, 255mm deep vanity supplied as a complete unit: the matte white fluted PVC cabinet plus the matching Solid Surface (Matte White) top with an integrated basin, single tap hole, overflow and 32mm waste. Nothing else to specify — it arrives ready for your plumber.

Keeping a Small Bathroom Feeling Open Instead of Crowded

In a bathroom under about four square metres, the vanity is usually the piece that makes the room feel tight. A 255mm deep unit in matte white does the opposite: it disappears against a light wall, the floor stays visible underneath, and the fluted front gives the eye some texture without adding any bulk. White on white also lets you spend the visual budget elsewhere — a dark tap, a strong tile, a framed mirror — instead of the cabinet competing with them.

Key Features of the Matte White Fluted Vanity

• Only 255mm deep: roughly 100mm shallower than a typical slimline unit.
• Matte white fluted front: texture without weight, and it sits comfortably against almost any tile.
• PVC board throughout: no timber core to swell at the edges or around fixings.
• Soft close finger pull door: handle-free, so nothing protrudes into the walkway.
• Matching solid surface top included: the top and cabinet are both matte white, so there is no off-white clash.

The Solid Surface Top, Explained

Solid surface is a cast mineral-and-resin composite, not a glazed ceramic shell. The colour runs all the way through, and the basin and the bench are moulded as one seamless piece with no join around the bowl to collect grime. The bowl is shaped to suit a shallow cabinet, so the waste drops close to the wall and leaves the cupboard usable. The tap hole is not centred. There is a single hole on the flat deck at one end of the top, 115mm in from the edge and beside the bowl. The top is not fixed down in the box, so you can turn it 180 degrees at installation to put the tap on the left or on the right, whichever suits your pipework and the side you want to stand.

Frequently Asked Questions About the 450mm Matte White Vanity

Q: What height should it be mounted at?
A: Most Australian installers set the finished top of a wall hung vanity between 800mm and 850mm above the floor. With a 480mm cabinet and a 95mm top, that puts the underside of the cabinet roughly 225mm to 275mm off the floor. Set the wall noggin and the waste to whichever finished height suits the people using the room.

Q: Is the cabinet the same white as the top?
A: Both are matte white and they are made to go together, but they are different materials — a PVC board cabinet and a cast solid surface top — so under strong side lighting you may see a slight difference in depth of tone. Viewed normally in a bathroom they read as one piece.

Q: Is it suitable for a bathroom that gets a lot of steam?
A: The cabinet is made from PVC board rather than MDF or particle board, so there is no timber core to swell if moisture reaches an edge or a screw hole. It handles the humidity of a shower room well. Standing water left against any cabinet will eventually cause damage, and water damage is not covered by the warranty.

Q: Do you deliver to my city?
A: Yes — we ship Australia wide. Free metro delivery applies on orders over $2,000 to Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra, over $2,500 to Brisbane and Adelaide, and over $3,200 to Perth. Regional addresses receive a discounted rate, and Sydney customers are welcome to collect free of charge. Below those thresholds freight is calculated at checkout by weight and postcode.
