The Matte Black Semi Frameless Diamond Shower Screen is a five-sided corner shower screen with an angled pivot door across the front and a fixed side panel on each wall. It has a fully framed matte black #6463 aluminium frame and 6mm clear toughened safety glass, stands 2000mm high and comes in 900 x 900mm and 1000 x 1000mm to suit a matching diamond (pentagon) shower base.

The matte black aluminium frame traces each angle of the diamond shape, giving a defined, contemporary look that pairs with black tapware, black floor wastes and white or grey tiles. The door sits on the angled front and swings out on a pivot hinge, and it can be set up to open from the left or the right. Each size fits within 10mm either side of its nominal measurement on each wall, and the wall channels take up to 20mm of out-of-plumb wall. The glass is toughened for safety and cannot be cut or drilled after manufacture. Backed by a 5 year replacement parts warranty.

Why Choose a Diamond Shower Screen for a Corner

A diamond shower screen cuts across the front corner of a square shower, so the door sits on the angle. That gives a wider way in than a door squeezed onto one side of a small square corner, and the clipped corner takes a little less floor space, which helps in ensuites and smaller main bathrooms.

Diamond Shower Screen Size Guide

Available in Chrome and Matte Black. Walk-in opening is a guide only; the final figure depends on the installation.

Care & Normal Wear

Squeegee the glass after showering and run the exhaust fan. Clean the glass and frame with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner; avoid scourers, bleach and solvent cleaners, which can dull the finish. Like any shower screen, seals, hinges and finishes show normal wear over time, and damage from misuse or harsh cleaning is outside the warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Matte Black Diamond Shower Screen

How do I measure for a diamond shower screen?
Measure along each wall from the corner to the outside edge of the shower base, at the top, middle and bottom, and use the smallest figure. Choose the size whose range contains it: 890-910mm takes the 900 x 900mm screen and 990-1010mm takes the 1000 x 1000mm screen.

Do I need a diamond shower base?
Yes. The screen follows a five-sided diamond shape, so it needs a matching diamond (pentagon) shower base or a tiled hob built to the same shape. The base is not included.

How wide is the way in?
The walk-in opening is about 497mm on both sizes, with the door fully open.

Can the door open from either side?
Yes. The pivot door can be set up to open from the left or the right.

Does a pivot door need clearance?
Yes. The door swings outwards, so keep the area in front of the shower clear. If space in front of the shower is tight, the Matte Black Semi Frameless Double Sliding Corner Shower Screen opens without any swing.

Can the glass be cut down to fit?
No. Toughened safety glass is heat-treated after cutting, so it cannot be cut, drilled or notched afterwards without shattering. Choose the size that matches your shower base.

Can I pick up the shower screen in Sydney or Brisbane?
Yes. You can collect from our Auburn warehouse in Sydney (NSW 2144) or our Coopers Plains pick-up point in Brisbane (QLD 4108). In-stock screens can usually be collected straight away; if your size or colour is not in stock, we will call you to confirm when it arrives before you come in.

Do you deliver?
Yes. We deliver across the Sydney metro and Brisbane metro areas. For other suburbs, regional areas and interstate, freight is calculated from your postcode at checkout. Glass is checked before dispatch; please inspect it on delivery before signing.

Semi-frameless shower screen installation is a flat $329. Removing an existing screen and taking away the old screen and rubbish are separate charges, which we can quote before booking.
