The Matte Black Semi Frameless Curved Sliding Shower Screen is a quarter-round corner shower screen with two curved sliding doors that open from the centre. It has a matte black #6463 aluminium frame and 6mm clear curved toughened safety glass, stands 2000mm high and comes in 800 x 800, 900 x 900 and 1000 x 1000mm to suit a matching quarter-round shower base.

The matte black aluminium frame traces the curve of the glass, giving a defined, contemporary look that pairs with black tapware, black floor wastes and grid-style tiles. Each side has a fixed curved panel against the wall and a sliding door on rollers, so the doors part in the middle and give a walk-in gap of 500 to 600mm depending on size. The screen can be installed either way round, and each size fits within 10mm either side of its nominal measurement. The glass is toughened for safety and cannot be cut or drilled after manufacture. Backed by a 5 year replacement parts warranty.

A Curved Corner Shower That Saves Floor Space

A quarter-round shower tucks into the corner and cuts away the front corner of a square shower, so it takes up less floor space and is easier to walk around in a small bathroom or ensuite. The doors slide along the curve rather than swing out, so you can place a vanity or toilet close by without worrying about door clearance.

Curved Sliding Shower Screen Size Guide

Available in Chrome and Matte Black. Door opening is the walk-in gap with both doors fully open and is a guide only; the final figure depends on the installation.

Care & Normal Wear

Squeegee the glass after showering, run the exhaust fan and wipe the bottom track now and then so the rollers keep running smoothly along the curve. Clean with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner; avoid scourers, bleach and solvent cleaners, which can dull the finish. Like any shower screen, seals, rollers and finishes show normal wear over time, and damage from misuse or harsh cleaning is outside the warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Matte Black Curved Sliding Shower Screen

How do I measure for a curved shower screen?
Measure from the corner along each wall to where the curved edge of the shower base meets the wall. Both sides should be the same; choose the size whose range contains your measurement, for example 895mm on each wall takes the 900 x 900mm screen, which fits 890-910mm.

Do I need a curved shower base?
Yes. The screen follows a quarter-round curve, so it needs a matching quarter-round shower base or a tiled hob built to the same radius. The base is not included.

How wide is the gap to walk in?
About 500mm on the 800 x 800mm screen, 550mm on 900 x 900mm and 600mm on 1000 x 1000mm, with both doors fully open.

Curved or square corner shower: which is better?
A curved screen takes up less floor space and is easier to walk around in a small bathroom. A square corner screen gives more room inside the shower for the same wall lengths and works with a standard square base.

I have a square corner shower. What should I choose?
The Matte Black Semi Frameless Double Sliding Corner Shower Screen fits square or rectangular corners from 800 to 1200mm per side, with a corner entry.

Can the glass be cut down to fit?
No. Curved toughened glass is shaped and heat-treated after cutting, so it cannot be cut, drilled or notched afterwards without shattering. Choose the size that matches your shower base.

Can I pick up the shower screen in Sydney or Brisbane?
Yes. You can collect from our Auburn warehouse in Sydney (NSW 2144) or our Coopers Plains pick-up point in Brisbane (QLD 4108). In-stock screens can usually be collected straight away; if your size or colour is not in stock, we will call you to confirm when it arrives before you come in.
