How it feels: a smooth, silky matte surface that feels warm to the touch, closer to a matte acrylic or Corian-style benchtop than to marble or granite. It does not have the cold, heavy feel of natural stone. How it differs from natural stone: much lighter; an even, consistent colour with no natural veining; non-porous, so it does not need sealing. Light surface marks can usually be buffed out with a fine non-scratch pad. Please note: avoid water above 65°C and do not place hot items in the basin, as heat can mark or damage the surface.
