venus-750mm-round-led-mirror-motion-sensor-gun-metal
Venus 750mm Round Framed LED Mirror with Motion Sensor - Gun Metal, Front-Lit Anti-Fog Bathroom Mirror

The Venus 750mm Round Framed LED Mirror in Gun Metal (VE-75RD-GM) is a front-lit, motion sensor LED bathroom mirror that turns on as you walk in and off again after you leave, so there is no switch to reach for. It is 750mm in diameter and 35mm deep, with an L-profile metal frame finished in gun metal. A band of LED light runs just inside the frame and lights your face from the front, the light changes between warm, neutral and cool tones, and an SAA certified demister pad keeps the glass clear.

Gun metal is a deep graphite grey that suits concrete-look tiles, charcoal joinery and gun metal tapware. It gives the mirror a stronger outline than nickel without the hard contrast of black. The 5mm third-generation copper-free mirror is laminated with an explosion-proof safety film, the back is sealed with a waterproof, flame-retardant PVC panel, and the mirror hangs on two Z-shaped brackets with an aluminium rail. Mercio covers its LED mirrors with a 1 year product replacement warranty.

Hands-Free Light with a Built-In Motion Sensor

The motion sensor is what makes the Venus easy to live with. Walk into the bathroom and the light comes on by itself; leave, and it switches off about 60 seconds later. That means no fumbling for a switch at night, no wet fingerprints on a touch button, and no mirror left glowing all day after the kids have gone to school. The sensor reads movement within about 1.5 to 2 metres, which covers someone standing at the vanity without reacting to people walking past the doorway in most layouts. If you would rather switch the light manually, a long press on the demister button turns motion detection off, and the light and demister then switch off on their own after 1 hour.

The Everyday Round Size for Most Vanities

A 750mm round mirror is the size most people reach for over a single basin. It is wide enough for two people to share a glance in the morning, yet still leaves wall space beside it on a 900mm vanity. Hung with its centre around eye level, the curve softens a bathroom full of square tiles and straight joinery.

Key Features of the Venus Gun Metal LED Mirror

Motion sensor lighting - detects movement at 1.5-2m, lights up as you walk in and turns off about 60 seconds after you leave

Front-lit LED band - even light on your face for shaving and make-up

Adjustable light - 2700K-6500K; tap to switch warm, neutral and cool, with memory of the last setting

SAA certified demister pad - 300 x 300mm pad, switches off automatically after 1 hour

Copper-free safety mirror - 5mm glass laminated with explosion-proof safety film

Gun Metal L-profile frame - slim framed edge with a sealed PVC back panel

Easy install - two Z-shaped brackets, aluminium rail, three-way quick connector; 1.2m SAA certified cable, AC 90-265V

Venus VE-75RD-GM Specifications

Product code

VE-75RD-GM

Brand

Mercio

Series

Venus Framed LED Mirrors

Shape

Round

Size

750mm diameter x 35mm deep

Frame

Gun Metal metal frame

Mirror

5mm copper-free mirror, laminated explosion-proof safety film

Lighting

Front-lit LED, 2835 chip, 120 LEDs/m, CRI >80, 36W

Colour temperature

2700K-6500K (warm / neutral / cool)

Controls

Dual-button panel for light, demister and motion sensor; light memory

Motion sensor

1.5-2m range, auto-off about 60 seconds after no movement

Anti-fog

SAA certified demister pad, 300 x 300mm, auto-off after 1 hour

Power

AC 90-265V, 1.2m three-core cable, external relay protection

Back

Sealed waterproof, flame-retardant PVC back panel

Mounting

2 x Z-shaped brackets with aluminium rail, three-way quick connector

Warranty

1 year product replacement (Mercio LED mirror warranty)

Frequently Asked Questions About the Venus 750mm LED Mirror

What size vanity suits the Venus 750mm round LED mirror?

A 750mm round mirror suits a 750mm to 900mm single vanity, and also works over a 1200mm vanity when you want more wall showing either side. As a guide, choose a mirror the same width as the vanity or a little narrower, and hang it so the centre sits roughly at eye level.

Do I need an electrician to install an LED mirror?

Yes. The mirror is supplied with a 1.2m cable for hardwiring, and connecting it to the mains must be done by a licensed electrician. Plan the power point position behind the mirror before tiling so the cable stays hidden.

How does the motion sensor work?

The sensor detects movement within about 1.5 to 2 metres, so the light comes on as you walk up to the Venus 750mm round LED mirror and switches off about 60 seconds after you leave. A long press of the demister button (3 seconds or more) turns motion detection on or off; with it off, the light and demister switch off automatically after 1 hour.

How does the anti-fog demister work?

An SAA certified heating pad (300 x 300mm) behind the glass warms the centre of the mirror so steam does not settle on it. It is switched from its own button and turns itself off after 1 hour.

Can I change the light colour?

Yes. A quick tap on the light button cycles through warm, neutral and cool light (2700K to 6500K), and the mirror remembers the last setting you used.

Will the mirror get black edges in a humid bathroom?

Black edges come from moisture reaching the silver layer of a mirror. This mirror uses 5mm copper-free glass, which resists that corrosion better than standard mirrors. Good ventilation and avoiding ammonia or acidic cleaners on the edges help it keep its finish.

What warranty comes with the Venus 750mm round LED mirror?

Mercio covers its LED mirrors with a 1 year product replacement warranty. Please inspect the mirror before installation and report any damage or defect in writing beforehand, as installation is taken as acceptance of the product.

Do you deliver to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth?

Yes. The Venus 750mm round LED mirror ships Australia-wide, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, with freight calculated at checkout. When the mirror is part of a larger order, free metro delivery applies over $2,000 to Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra, over $2,500 to Brisbane and Adelaide, and over $3,200 to Perth. Regional addresses are quoted a discounted freight rate at checkout, and Sydney customers can pick up from our warehouse for free.

⚠️ Important Selection Advice: This LED mirror must be hardwired to the mains by a licensed electrician.
