It can be installed topmount or undermount, and a 90mm basket waste is included.

The sink is moulded from granite with sound-dampening built into the body, so running water and dishes are quieter than in a thin steel sink. The matte black finish has a soft, low-sheen look that contrasts with white and marble-look benchtops and pairs well with black, gun metal or brushed brass tapware. The surface is non-porous and resists everyday stains and scratches. It is backed by a 20 year replacement warranty.

A Deep Granite Sink for Laundries and Bars

The Laufey 550 pairs a 499mm wide bowl with a deeper 510mm footprint front to back. It is a comfortable laundry sink for soaking and hand washing, and also works as a generous bar or butler's pantry sink.

Key Features of the Laufey Matte Black Granite Sink

Single bowl - a 499 x 398 x 235mm bowl

550 x 510 x 235mm overall - 43 litre capacity

Matte Black granite - soft matte finish with sound-dampening body

Topmount or undermount - suits stone, laminate and timber benchtops

Included - a 90mm basket waste

20 year replacement warranty on the sink

Laufey LK-GSLS550 Specifications

Product code

LK-GSLS550

Product name

Laufey Granite Sink

Type

granite laundry sink

Overall size

550 x 510 x 235mm

Bowl size

499 x 398 x 235mm

Capacity

43 litres

Material

Granite

Colour

Matte Black

Installation

Topmount or undermount

Included

A 90mm basket waste

Tap hole

None (mixer mounts on the benchtop)

Warranty

20 years replacement (sink)

Frequently Asked Questions About the Laufey 550mm Granite Sink

Can the Laufey 550mm granite sink be installed topmount or undermount?

Yes. It can sit under a stone benchtop as an undermount sink, or drop into the bench as a topmount sink. Use the cut-out template and installation guide supplied, and have your stonemason or installer check the cut-out before the benchtop is cut.

What cabinet size does the 550mm sink need?

The sink is 550mm long and 510mm deep overall, and the bowl is 499mm wide.
