It can be installed topmount or undermount, and a 90mm basket waste is included.

The sink is moulded from granite with sound-dampening built into the body, so running water and dishes are quieter than in a thin steel sink. The matte black finish has a soft, low-sheen look that contrasts with white and marble-look benchtops and pairs well with black, gun metal or brushed brass tapware. The surface is non-porous and resists everyday stains and scratches. It is backed by a 20 year replacement warranty.

An Everyday Single Bowl Granite Sink

A bowl just under 500mm wide is the most versatile single sink size. It takes a dinner plate stack, a frypan or a baking dish without taking over the benchtop, and suits a main kitchen sink in a small to medium kitchen or a generous laundry sink.

Key Features of the Crete Matte Black Granite Sink

Single bowl - a 499 x 399 x 235mm bowl

550 x 450 x 235mm overall - 43 litre capacity

Matte Black granite - soft matte finish with sound-dampening body

Topmount or undermount - suits stone, laminate and timber benchtops

Included - a 90mm basket waste

20 year replacement warranty on the sink

Crete LK-GSKS550 Specifications

Product code

LK-GSKS550

Product name

Crete Granite Sink

Type

single bowl granite sink

Overall size

550 x 450 x 235mm

Bowl size

499 x 399 x 235mm

Capacity

43 litres

Material

Granite

Colour

Matte Black

Installation

Topmount or undermount

Included

A 90mm basket waste

Tap hole

None (mixer mounts on the benchtop)

Warranty

20 years replacement (sink)

Frequently Asked Questions About the Crete 550mm Granite Sink

Can the Crete 550mm granite sink be installed topmount or undermount?

Yes. It can sit under a stone benchtop as an undermount sink, or drop into the bench as a topmount sink. Use the cut-out template and installation guide supplied, and have your stonemason or installer check the cut-out before the benchtop is cut.

What cabinet size does the 550mm sink need?

The sink is 550mm long and 450mm deep overall, and the bowl is 499mm wide. Check that the inside of your sink cabinet is wider than the bowl, with room for the waste and plumbing underneath, and allow for the bowl depth above any drawers or bins.

Single bowl or double bowl: which should I choose?

A single bowl gives one wide space for pots, trays and baking dishes, which is why many people now choose one large bowl over two small ones. If you rely on a dishwasher and mostly rinse by hand, a single bowl is usually the more practical choice.

How do I look after a granite sink?

Rinse and wipe the sink after use, and clean it with warm soapy water and a soft cloth or non-scratch sponge. Avoid steel wool, bleach and harsh chemical cleaners. Do not put hot pots or pans straight from the stove into the bowl, as sudden temperature changes can damage granite.

Do you deliver to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth?

Yes. The Crete 550mm granite sink ships Australia-wide, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, with freight calculated at checkout. When the sink is part of a larger order, free metro delivery applies over $2,000 to Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra, over $2,500 to Brisbane and Adelaide, and over $3,200 to Perth.
